About Us

Berean Community Church at Sugarloaf (BCCS) is an English-language intercultural worship gathering. With more than 120,000 internationals living within seven miles of our church at 1664 Old Peachtree Road NW, Suwanee, Ga., our heart is to reach peoples whose heritages represent the diverse cultures of North Atlanta.

Sugarloaf Korean Baptist Church (SKBC) sponsors BCCS. SKBC has a rich history of church planting. SIF is yet another church plant of SKBC. The core group for BCCS has been the previous English ministry of SKBC.

Beginning in the fall of 2011, the English ministry began a process of community survey and self-examination to determine God's plan for this fellowship. The conclusion was to re-launch on August 12, 2012, as an intercultural church that invites all people of all nations to worship together. In the discovery process, one member expressed their heart for the church with this statement:

"My wish is to have kimchi, tacos, and curry for Thanksgiving within five years."
